Good early season conditions this week on Mont Gros Bras and Mur des Crapauds. P'tite Tete is thin but ice is all the way down the first pitch. Bring very short modified screws or be willing to solo thin WI4+ near the bottom. Mur des Crapauds has several good lines to climb. Again, thin down low but thicker up high. "Retour des Crapauds" is WI4+/5(WI4R) right now. Both routes had some wet ice and should get thicker with time as temperatures stay below freezing at night. Other cliffs in the area like Mont Gol have interesting ice and mixed terrain that is climbable as well. For more info, read the trip report - https://www.neice.com/2017/11/go-north-old-man/
