Headed up there today after yesterday AM's warm temps and rain and was happy to see how much ice survived. Pitch one was plastic fun. Pitch two was going pretty well until I plugged up 3 of my remaining 6 ice screws with new fresh wet ice after the rock traverse. Above the steeper bit after the traverse looked pretty thin until the small parasol and with only 3 use-able screws and no rock gear I decided to V-thread off. Rock gear or willing to run it out for 40 feet would have made it go but sai la vie. More pics and video on my Instagram @northeast_alpine_start

Not sure why NEIce upload is rotating my pic 90 degrees?

Hey NEAlpineStart, Thanks for posting the photo.

I think your phone or camera is automatically rotating the image in that device. The photo has a Meta File (EXIF) that tells it which orientation it is in and this forum is reading that file. I Will look into that further and see what is the best way to handle that. Open for any input from others.
For now I rotated the file for you.

I think it’s IOS Doug. My profile pic was shot with a iPhone and it’s tilted as well.

Route looks fairly fat for this time of year! Has anyone done Hassig's Direct yet this season? Looks in the photo like it's in too.

OK, You can now rotate images that are in the wrong orientation. Thank God, my phone would post them in the wrong orientation most of the time.

    All fixed now!
