It's not climbing 'till you're bleeding.
Willing to travel to New York- South, New York - North if partners are needed!
Cursed to be an ice climber in Western, PA, I endeavor to persevere.
Whereabouts are you? I'm in Amherst NH, Dave is in RI and Mat is in Manchester NH, if you like I can coordinate getting their gear back to them. Happy to reimburse mailing costs, Let me know what would be most convenient for you.
Kimber, for partners, also look at the partner forum on NEIce:
And the Eastern forums on Mountainproject:
You climb often in that Arietta/Caroga Area?
To be honest except for Echo Cliff, I haven't climbed anything near Arietta. As I recall the rock was dirty and it was real thuggish climbing.
hey joe. it coming up to the cats tomorrow and was wondering if its even worth it. do you know what the current condition are?
Hey Mike, Chuck (AKA Rocknice2) also fabricates super stubbies, I've got a 6-7cm from him. Though you have to send him a 10cm or he can buy it for you. The BD 10cm had the thread closer to the hanger, meaning you'll keep more thread after it's machined down, something to look at when selecting the screw to use.
Hey Mike, Doyle Tarwater says hello, I'm going to be coming to Powkeepsie for several years. I hope to climb with you.
um, there seems to be some copy write issues with your profile pic. (and boy is your Housewife ugly!).
Careful what you say...he bites!
my experience is that his bark is worse than his bite
I responded to your post about Sunday. If you are interested, I am heading up to Willoughby in the morning for about 3 hours. Would be great to have a partner and get a route in. I lead up to 3+, and I am guessing something in the tablets will be climbable.
on the ice or thinking about it
I climb ice mostly in the Daks and the Cats!
I drove through and walked around Grafton Notch a bit today. I am not really familiar with the routes but from what I saw everything on the West side of the road was running heavily with water over the top of the ice. On the East side looks like some climbable lines. If it freezes back up everything should be pretty good. Saw some fattish lines that could be climbed.
still looking for a partner for sunday at smuggs? I lead up to 3+.
Yes I am, are you available? My number is (609) 744-1409, text or call doesnt matter.
Hey Jonathan, this is Ryan, the climber you snapped a few photos of today on Blind Fate. My email is [email protected] if you get a chance and wouldn't mind sending me some of the photos. Thanks!
