Don’t miss this chance to meet legendary climber and author Fred Beckey when he visits The Mountaineer on Sunday, March 17th from 3-5 p.m to meet and greet fellow climbers, share stories and sign his recent book, “Fred Beckey’s 100 Favorite North American Climbs.” Fred has recorded more first ascents than any other North American climber and is still climbing strong at the age of 90! This event is free and open to the public.
Fred will cap off his visit to the Adirondacks with movies and photos showcasing his favorite climbs at The Northwood School in Lake Placid on Monday, March 18th, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 at the door.
