Live Your Dream Grant 2015

This year’s Live Your Dream grant, powered by The North Face, gave out nearly $30,000 to every-day adventurers hoping to take their climbing to the next level. Thanks to our Live Your Dream grant, powered by The North Face, we can help make a lot of dreams happen! This year we had 362 applications sent to us from around the country. The Regional Managers and their committees had some big decisions to make, and from 362 they narrowed it down to 50 individuals. Congratulations to the 2014 winners!

Get Jim Ewing back to Maine Fund

As many of you know Jim Ewing took a bad fall while climbing in the Caymans recently. He suffered broken bones including multiple fractures to his pelvis. He is currently in a Florida hospital awaiting more surgeries. Luckily Jim does have health insurance but the bills are racking up fast. Jim’s goal is to come back to Maine, or at least to Boston, so he can be close to family for his ongoing medical care. Insurance will not cover this transport and he can’t just hop on a commercial flight. Family and friends are exploring options and none are cheap. We’re hoping to raise some money to help get Jim home, and to offset some of the family’s medical expenses.

Hungry for more, Matt returned yesterday with Michael Wejchert and put up a new variation to that route! Stay tuned for an NEice exclusive story and details […]
