Description: Dedicated to the late Alex Lowe, and named after his favorite ice route, Winter Dance is now available at select retailers featuring 380 full color photos for 300 of the best climbs found anywhere between Colorado and the Canadian Rockies. Detailing more vertical feet of ice and mixed terrain than any guide in America, Winter Dance covers the Big Sky and Bozeman area, the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness, Yellowstone National Park, and the South Fork valley near Cody.

Pros:
Cons:

A good description of this beautiful book will be a coffee table guiding book
I met Jo-Jo last night at feather friends’ slide-show/book-signing. Speaking to Jo-Jo was a trip, you should have him do a slide show at the mountaineer. Awesome slides he have and cool Montana boy sense of humor buy this book you won’t regrets it the better and updated book for Hylite Canyon and I believe the only book for Cody

Pros: photos, beta, history, directions to climbs
Cons: a big large for the pack

best ice guide out there. not a great size to stuff in a pack, but that one con is more than balanced by its completeness, the great climbing history related, and the gorgeous color photos.
