Description: Buy it at the Mountaineer.

Launching for unclimbed gems in Alaska's Kichatna Spires demands both alpine mastery and good-weather windows that can slam shut without warning. Lightweight Stretch Elements provide unstinting waterproof performance, superb stretch and a supple, soft-shell-like feel. They're also the most breathable and technically dialed hard shells we've ever made. Jacket-specific detailing: skinny seam tape for light weight; anatomically contoured, perforated hook-and-loop closures; a uniquely sculpted hem for gymnastic climbing moves; an integrated pit-zip/handwarmer pocket system that fully vents the torso; water-resistant zippers; a custom-fitting, roll-down, three-way Optipull hood, and a removable between-the-legs strap to keep the jacket from riding up.

Pros: light, no frills, crotch strap
Cons: still a little to bulky

I really like this jaclet. It has zippers and pockets only where you need them. The combo pocket/pit zips is an efficient design to compensate for the need for both. The material is light and stretches in the shoulders. My only issue with this jacket is that it could be more streamlined. The crotch strap helps to rectify any bulkiness in the frornt mid section which is really important to me when I climb. I would highly reccomend - it may fit others better than me
