Pros: Great hood, comfortable, very water/wind resistant, nice pockets
Cons: A little big in the belly

My favorite soft shell for ice climbing. The pockets are big and easy to use. The hood is huge, and sheds water well (including the inside for when the hood is open). The velcro closures on the wrists are thin and stay out of the way of gloves. Nice and warm, and plenty water resistant for anything I've encountered in the Adirondacks.

Pros: Great fit, highly breathable, but plenty wind-resistant; sweet hood
Cons: velcro tabs on cuff delaminate (but still function fine)

this is a SWEET, great performing soft shell;
the hood is key, and fits easily over a helmet w/headlamp; great cargo pockets; long cut stays put under harness; the Schoeller fabric is wear resistant, breathes awesome, and provides plenty of wind and sleet resistance, especially with some layers underneath; wore mine with confidence from Mt. Washington to Mt. Andromeda in the Can. Rockies;
