Description: Pluses - Lightweight, comfortable boot. Rigid but nimble feeling.

Minuses - There's not a lot of insulation underfoot. I bought these a half (Euro) size bigger than I could have because I heard they weren't so warm. But no amount of sock could overcome the heat loss out the bottom. So I put a Dr Scholls insole (nothing fancy, just a flat slab of dense foam) underneath the sock liner. The improvement is dramatic. And it takes up a bit of room that solved my other fit-related concern, that no matter how snug I laced them,. they always "felt loose". They weren't truly loose, and heel lift wasn't a problem. But it wasn't (until now) that real snug, "OK now I'm ready to climb steep ice" feeling I'm used to with my Salomon SM9's. So now the boots are wonderful.

Pros: Light, comfortable
Cons: not as waterproof as you might like

I've climbed a fair bit in these boots and have found them very comfortable. They are a stiff, stable platform and they've felt good on all grades of ice. Like the other reviewer, I switched to these from Salomon SM9s. These are so much lighter it is almost ridiculous. I've only had cold feet in these once and it was well below 0 fahrenheit and windy. (My feet weren't the only thing cold that day!)

Pros: very comfy,light,aproach friendly,warm
Cons: not alot of ankle support(ski aproachs)

They were a little scary to climb in because they are sooooo foot friendly. They hike very well and are nimble when it comes to delicate placements but kick very well.

Pros: Very light, great dexterity
Cons:

I've climbed in these boots for 2 full seasons and have no complaints. The only time cold has been a factor is when I've over tightened them. I've hike out of some backcountry locations in them and even though they are stiff they've been fine to walk a distance in.
