Description: Available now at www.JustRopes.com

Featuring a high UIAA twin-rope fall rating, this thin rope is designed for the lightest and extreme alpinism (but equally as good on the local ice or rock crags). One the few ropes that is UIAA certified both as a twin and a double rope (useful when it comes time for those wandering routes).

"PMI has always built soft, great handling ropes and the Verglas continues in that tradition . . .uses a single pick construction to achieve a nice smooth sheath that feeds easily and creates very little drag." Gripped Magazine Oct. 2004

Pros: Twin/Double Rated, handling
Cons: none

I ice climbed on these for 2 seasons, and have used them as tag-lines rock climbing for another 2. This is the only rope I know of that is rated as both a double and a twin, so typically I used them as doubles and occasionally would clip them both on a straight route at a crux for that warm-fuzzy feeling.
