I was there on Wednesday (2/3) evening - it was good and building. Some lines were leadable. It should be a lot bigger now.

I was there on both 2/3 and yesterday 2/7 and was surprised to see it had only shrunk along with more undermining on the main wall.
The ice was hard and brittle yesterday and defoliating quickly..with any luck this storm on Wednesday will feed it.
Less leadable lines...
? due to heavy traffic on Sat..

Jen,I have not been out for awhile to see what our local ice looks like.Just been too busy or too sick.
What you are thinking about this storm helping revive the ice should be right. There may be some weird bonding layers but with this storm being a wet snow predicted and the next days not being wicked cold, but cold enough ,we should get some good water flowing and refreezing.

Thomaston gets destryed pretty fast from all the traffic it sees.Add a dry cold piriod and it really sulimates and disapeers fast. In times of warm ups and cold night it can hang in surprisingly well.

Stuff is in pretty thick, but well traveled. Definitely leadable, if 30' leads are your thing. The pillar to the right is FAT, but also well traveled. The dangling icicle on the microProw came down again today while we were packing up.
