I'm planning a trip to Denali in May 2011 and hope to climb the Cassin Ridge. Any advice on logistics, equipment, or training for this challenging route? Any first hand info on Denali? Thanks!

The two that died were camped just a bit up from us. We spent the better part of the day before the accident swapping stories, talking about the route, and having a few cups of wine. I believe we climbed Freezy Nuts maybe four/five days earlier, but

And now it is on the Front page! Well Done! Of course there wasn't much else to choose from right now but... At least it gives us something to go on during the intolerable heat that we have been having.

We went on and did Freezy Nuts between Werewolf and London Towers, and then Ham & Egg's. We thought about getting up Dickey, but the nights were never cold enough and slogging through waist deep wet snow just didn't seem too appealing. We did do
